Agnes Ruth (Soares) Perreira
‘Gran’ was born in Makaweli on Sept. 24, 1930, and died at her home in Pearl City, O‘ahu, on Friday, Aug. 14, 2020.
She was predeceased by parents Antone and Carmen (Perry) Soares, husband Paul Richard Perreira, daughter Paulette Ann (Perreira) Smith, granddaughter Myla Ka‘iulani Mata and brother Ernest Soares.
She is survived by daughter Valerie Jean (Robert) Mata of Mililani, O‘ahu, son Howard Jardin (Ululani) Perreira of Kalaheo, sister Alice (Soares) Lyman of Pearl City, O‘ahu, sister-in-law Barbara (Perreira) Boynton, grandchildren Robert P. Smith, Bonnie M. (Smith) Lacuesta Helsley, Monique P. (Mata) Parmelee, Tyler R. Mata, Ikaika J. Perreira, Alohilani J. Perreira, 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and nephews, nieces and cousins.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private services were held at Mililani Mortuary on O‘ahu.
