WAILUA — Registration for summer golf classes for those ages 7 to 15 will be held on Monday, June 15, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Wailua Golf Course pro shop.
WAILUA — Registration for summer golf classes for those ages 7 to 15 will be held on Monday, June 15, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Wailua Golf Course pro shop.
The registration fee is $35 per child per session.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social-distancing concerns, only the first 16 applicants will be accepted. Additionally, all participants are required to wear cloth face coverings.
Two sessions are being offered at the Wailua Golf Course: From June 29 to July 10 and from July 13 to July 24. The sessions will run Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon, and Fridays from 1 to 5 p.m. No classes will be held on July 3 in observance of Independence Day.
Participants will need to bring a golf bag along with the following clubs: a driver; number 5, 7 and 9 irons, putter and a pitching wedge. Sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, snacks and beverages are recommended.
Only parents or legal guardians may sign the waiver form. Other adults signing the form must attach a power-of-attorney or notarized document stating they are legally authorized to sign on behalf of the parents or legal guardians.
Adults will be required to show driver’s license or other picture identification card to verify identity and signature.

ah why bother to put in the paper- only taking 16 applicants…. need to better than that…. so many children would like such a program…
