HANAPEPE — Placido and Maria Valenciano believed that providing food was a priority in life, said Judge Randal Valenciano, one of the couple’s children.
In honoring that belief, the Valenciano children, including Judge Randall, Patricia Pablo, Glenda Miyazaki, Marilyn Billingsley, Crystal Rowe, and Placido Valenciano Jr. are sponsoring a food distribution event in Kaumakani on June 6.
The distribution also recognizes Father’s Day and will take place from 9 a.m. and continue until 10 a.m., or until supplies are exhausted.
The distribution will take place in the Thriftimart parking lot with the cooperation of Gay & Robinson, and the support of the Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank.
