LIHU‘E — The Kaua‘i High School Foundation announced their 2020 scholarship recipients, with $11,000 in scholarships going to eight, two-year college and vocational school recipients and $32,000 in scholarships going to nine, four-year college and university recipients.
The following is a list of all the recipients:
Two-year college and vocational school
• Allison-Joy Cadiz, $2,500, Kaua‘i Community College, nursing: The Milt KHS ‘60 and Debbie Valera Scholarship;
• Angeline Bankirig, $2,500, KCC, accounting: The Milt KHS ‘60 & Debbie Valera Scholarship;
• Keiley Albarado-Planas, $1,000, KCC, travel industry management: The Kaua‘i High School Class of 1961 Scholarship;
• Gylcelle Morden, $1,000, KCC, computer engineering: The Kaua‘i High School Class of 1961 Scholarship;
• Devin Valencia-Pereles, $1,000, KCC, prostheses: The Kaua‘i High School Class of 1961 Scholarship;
• Mikaele Brown, $1,000, KCC, carpentry: The Kaua‘i High School Class of 1961 Scholarship;
