Partially opened or mixed drinks containing liquor are not permitted for sale.
Only restaurants, brewpubs and club licenses are eligible. Dispenser-class licenses (which include most bars on the island) are not eligible.
Licensees are encouraged to caution pick-up customers about open-container prohibitions, which require the storage of the opened product in the vehicle’s trunk or area of the vehicle not normally occupied by the driver or passengers.

Why are you limiting?? Archaic thinking and rules here- Many states have drive through liquor establishments- mix the drink put it a cup with a piece of tape over the “straw hole” and good to go… Why is this place so ridiculous??? Help keep Restaurants and BARS that sell food in business by offering take out liquor…..
Yes…bread, booze and circuses (Internet) for the serfs! We just love our fearless leaders.

KHSGRAD. Your name, says it all. A sad reminder of the stigma attached to Kauai High School. You are an embarrassment. Grow up-. Get tested, then go out and do something good for humanity. You shame your ohana, how you write. What is wrong with you?
As for promoting any alcohol right now. Here is the truth. Like it or not. Alcohol consumption will help the virus to go further in your blood stream and your body. This is the kind of virus that can love fermentation, and also, white bread or gluten. Even drinking milk right now, would help in the formation of deadly mucous. No one should be smoking or drinking right now. The idea that beer or wine can kill this virus is absolutely incorrect! If you do have it, it will make things worse, by causing liver issues. Moderation is the key. People should be limited to two drinks. No stores should be selling any alcohol or hard liqueurs what so ever.
The other issue is unrest, and drunkenness and violence. If you get everyone all boozed up, hmm let me think a moment. Uh, duh and duh. That would be a disaster. Lay off the alcohol sheesh. Now is not the time.
First, who is the COVIDIOTS at the County Liquor Control allowed this. I get it, I can order 1 beer or 2 unopened to go with my meal. What if I order wine, do I provide the container and put away in the trunk or backseat? Obviously I can’t put it in the cup holder because it is an open container and readily accessible.
Secondly, who is the COVIDIOTS customer who would want to go through all that trouble when he/she can go to Times, Safeway, Walmart, Costco if a member and buy a 6 pack for almost the same cost of 1 beer at the restaurant.
