Niele Carol Texeira (remember that patriotic red, white and blue cake?) is already set for Valentines Day (Phil Worwa is still stuck with the Chinese New Year crowd that surged into The Shops at Kukuiula during the last Flavors of Kukuiula) with her cupcake floral package.

The girls at the Wilcox Hospital Foundation (yep, that’s the chief canine officer’s office, too) already got past Chinese New Year and has Valentine thingies all over, including the door with its string of hearts. Now, is there going to be a Valentine’s Ono Pop?
Dickie Chang (he got to introduce Chris Chang to the Hilton Garden Inn General Manager Remon Pagels, as Chris was the longtime manager of the property at the mouth of the Wailua River when it was Kauai Resort) said he starts visiting the Oahu restaurant from Monday and will be doing the commuting thing for a while. The building is already under way so we just need to wait until they open the doors.
Kudos to Mark Perriello and his Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce crew on hosting another Business After Hours (Mark said there is still room on the calendar for anyone who wants to do one) at the Hilton Garden Inn in Wailua, and mahalo to Remon’s staff on a great hospitality job. Edamame pot stickers? Or, how about some bau bun? Goes well with the Cool on Kaua‘i beverage.
