Calling all poets and poetry lovers

Members of the “Live Poets’ Society” invite future members and visiting poets to the 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6 meeting at the conference room of the Lihue Public Library. It is free.

Members will bring three poems for reading and review for a public reading yet to be scheduled. There will also be individual comments/critiques on poems that were shared and distributed at the December meeting/holiday writing workshop.

Those attending should bring a work in progress for the evening’s sharing, critique and writing materials.

The Kauai “Live Poets’ Society” is a free gathering of poets for the purpose of enjoying the process of reading/writing poems together. The group meets monthly at Lihue Public Library under the guidance of Kauai poet and author, Dawn Fraser Kawahara, DBA TropicBird Press.
