Eugene Yukito Uegawa
Eugene Yukito Uegawa, 71, of Kapaa, passed away at home on Nov. 26, 2019. He was born in Lihue on June 18, 1948, and retired as a principal from Kauai Community School for Adults.
He is preceded in death by his parents Kiyoto and Shizuno Uegawa; brother Lincoln Uegawa.
Eugene is survived by his wife Merle Uegawa; daughter Liane Uegawa; son Justin Uegawa; sisters, Jane Kanada, Amy (Roy) Kimura, Katy Uegawa, Irene (Rudy) Lekarczyk; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Private services were held.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
