The battle (Christmas Tree Battle Royale, that is) is on, and people can vote by visiting the trees and casting their choice by dropping non-perishable canned goods in the baskets set up near the trees at 17 participating spots at The Shops at Kukuiula, where the winners will be announced Friday, Dec. 13, during the malls Holiday Bash.

Adam Coyaso of Cocohome was taking advantage of the not-sunny weather to harvest more coconuts for their offerings while Christine Coyaso took care of the table near the Kauai Ginger Beer (you haven’t tried any yet? Tthey’re also at the Kauai Community Market Saturdays at Kauai Community College in Puhi)…and you can check out those quaint holiday pieces created by Terry and Johnny Gordines of Tropical Flower Express (still got time to mail fresh holiday floral greetings, too!).
Jaemryn Peralta was having fun creating a salad Tuesday during the Eleele School ‘Ohana Enrichment Night presented in collaboration with Kamehameha Schools’ Moani Furuta and Mahealani Contrades, the school’s Parent Community Networking Center coordinator. Jaemryn was a New Year’s baby eight years ago. Wilmark Geranimo was one of the community basketball standouts, now, he’s papa to Zariah and 0!
