“Both Mike and Tim have made tremendous contributions to Kauai Electric and KIUC over the years,” said David Bissell, KIUC’s president and chief executive officer, David Bissell.
Some reorganization of operational functions will occur as a result of the retirements.
Power supply manager Brad Rockwell will be promoted to executive manager, utility operations. Carey Koide, who is currently transmission and distribution manager, will be promoted to executive manager, transmission and distribution, technology and safety. Engineering manager John Cox will be promoted to transmission and distribution manager. Cameron Kruse, who is currently substation operations supervisor, will be promoted to engineering manager.
Brandee Holt, who holds the position of finance manager, will be promoted to regulatory affairs manager.
Yamane’s role supporting government affairs will be assumed by communications manager Beth Tokioka and John Cox.
“As we focus more and more on the integration of renewables and technology improvements, some reorganization was timely,” Bissell said.
