A free program on the U.S. Census will be presented 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the Princeville Public Library
“This presentation aims to educate the public about the impact of the Census on the financial and socio-cultural well-being of our communities and the importance of a complete and accurate count,” said a press release.
The speaker, Eric Anderson, hopes to engage the people of Kauai to participate in the 2020 Decennial Census by explaining what to expect with the questionnaire and what census takers actually do in our communities, the release said.
He will also share information about jobs.
Anderson worked for the 2010 Census and will be available to answer questions after the program.
