Kalaheo Dental Group will buy back extra Halloween candy from keiki at the rate of $1 per pound up to a maximum of five pounds. The candy, and donated toothbrushes, will be contributed to armed forces troops through the Operation Gratitude program.
Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude has shipped more than 1.6 million care packages to those who serve our nation.
Donors will be eligible for a prize drawing for a $100 KUGA (Kauai Underground Artists) gift certificate.
“Your candy will bring joy to our troops, and the toothbrushes will bring them great dental health,” said a spokesperson for Kalaheo Dental Group.
