Let’s make Eleele pedestrian-friendly
On second thought to my letter on Sept. 7, 2019, “Eleele has pedestrian accident waiting to happen,” why not change the situation on the traffic lights. It becomes a four-way stop whenever there are pedestrians crossing in the crosswalk.
Also, state DOT and mayor, “EXPEDITE THE OVERHEAD WALK BRIDGE AND MAKE IT ADA-FRIENDLY!” Also, close off the (Eleele Shopping Center) exit at the overhead walk bridge. Let drivers use the traffic lights to exit.
