Hawaii Life returns to its roots as the company welcomes the team at Hanalei’s Country Brokers into their fold.
Founded in Hanalei in 2008 by Matt Beall and Winston Welborn, the company later moved to more spacious headquarters in Princeville.
The new Hanalei office is in the space that has been occupied by Country Brokers for nearly 30 years. The company’s clients, friends, colleagues and the general public are invited to a grand reopening celebration and office blessing to be held 5:30 p.m. Aug. 9.
“We started playing with the concept of Hawaii Life in 2004, working from a small office space at Ching Young Center. Much has changed since then, yet Hanalei has always been our hometown. It feels good to come home to Hanalei and the partnership with the team at Country Brokers is a natural fit,” said Winston Welborn, the Chief Design Officer at Hawaii Life.
Country Brokers has been a force in Kauai real estate since 1990 when the boutique firm was founded by R. Scott Lindman. Lindman brings 30 years of real estate experience and a specialized team of local experts to Hawaii Life. He served as president of the Kauai Board of Realtors in 2007.
“I’ve worked with Scott Lindman in both a volunteer capacity at the Kauai Board of Realtors and as a colleague here on the North Shore for decades. He’s been a mentor and an uncle to me and others, in business and in life,” said Matt Beall, CEO and Principal Broker at Hawaii Life.
“I want to thank the Kauai community for embracing Country Brokers, and giving us the blessing to live on Kauai and raise our kids and grandkids here,” said Scott Lindman. “From the depths of my heart, thank you. Moving forward with Matt, Winston and their Hawaii Life ‘ohana will couple Country Brokers’ community roots with positive new energy. Imua.”
Scott Lindman’s son Nicolas “Cola” Lindman was born and raised on Kauai. Working in the family business, he has represented first-time homebuyers and high-profile clients throughout his career. “The fact that Hawaii Life is a local company with global reach is a very important reason we decided to join forces,” said Nicolas Lindman. “Hawaii Life ison the cutting edge of marketing and technology. We have a great Hanalei location and I think we complement each other really well.”
The Hanalei office will provide a third retail location for Hawaii Life clients on Kauai, along with their offices at the Kukui’ula Shopping Center and at the Shido Building in the heart of Kapaa town, in addition to offices on Maui, Oahu and Hawaii Island.
