A family who had an idea! The idea was, stop bringing in those little plastic bottles filled with municipal water, and start bringing Kauai spring water to the doors of all Kauai’s people.
Here’s a family who has endeavored to begin a business properly and legally as good citizens of our island; a business that benefits the people of Kauai; a business that is environmentally sound.
In our island community, should we not be encouragers to those who seek to contribute to the betterment of living here?
This, I believe, is what and who the Satterfields are.

I agree with Ed Teruiʻs letter about the Satterfieldʻs. They helped in many Community & politicsl events free of charge donating water & equipment, even setups. I purchased water from them & they were at the Farm BUREAU Fair with their water for everyone. Jim has a heart for the people of Kauai & I know how much water meant to him & for us.
Kauai Officials have learned so much from Hillary’s Pay to Play Scheme! Nuff Said!
Intent may be one thing, but they went forward without proper permits and in violation of state and county laws and codes on Kauai after being shut down in Alaska for exactly the same reasons.
YES BRING BACK KAUAI SPRINGS!
Wrong! “Properly and legally”?!! Their operation was shut down because they built their bottling facility without proper legal permits in addition to illegally selling a public trust resource.
