KAPAA — Due to mechanical issues, the Kapaa swimming pool will be closed until further notice starting today.
Announcements will be given when repairs to the pool have been made.
When the pool reopens, the pool’s summer hours of operation will be as follows:
• Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. (adult swim) and 1 to 4:30 p.m. (open swim);
• Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. (adult swim);
• Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. (adult swim) and 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (open swim);
• Sunday from noon to 4:30 p.m. (open swim).
The facility is closed on Mondays and county holidays. If a holiday falls on a Monday, the pool is closed the following Tuesday.
