Airport parking very limited
LIHUE The Hawaii Department of Transportation Airports Division advises travelers to get dropped off at the airport over the summer travel season from Memorial Day to Labor Day, rather than paying for parking.

It’s time to build up and add more parking stalls.
Huh? What? That’s your solution? Just warn everyone (mostly residents, since visitors use rental cars) that you might miss a flight, maybe the start of a trip abroad? What’s next? Watch out for those potholes, folks, they’ll ruin your axle! Or how about, “don’t cross that bridge, the girders are old, better get a boat.” How about a plan?? How about until there’s a plan set up something online, like a hotline, so we can check airport parking status? Do we have any leadership on this island, or do they all take limos to flights? …and maybe have helicopters to avoid the traffic, too? Anyone with two eyes could have looked at the demographic studies and seen this coming for years, so again, where’s the plan? There used to be an overflow lot, but it’s been paved over and landscaped—likely the idea of someone now retired with a nice pention!
