OMAO — The Garden Island Motorcycle Club will host its seventh annual Boys Day Hare & Hound and Poker Run races on May 19 in Omao.

In the hare and hound races, riders collect checkpoints along the course and the first to turn in all their checks wins. There will be an A class for experts and B class for intermediate riders.

In the poker run races, participants will collect cards instead of checks and whoever gets the best hand wins. These races will have a C class for novice and D class for beginner racers.

Registration fee is $40 for adults and $20 for kids ages 12 and under.

The gates in Omao will open 6:30 the morning of the event. Regisration will begin 7, and the races are scheduled to start 9.
