HANALEI — A public information meeting for the reconstruction of the Black Pot Beach Park comfort station and related improvements is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hanalei School.
This meeting is to discuss the design and reconstruction of the restroom that was destroyed during the April 2018 flood event. The design of the replacement structure is underway and work could begin this summer.
Representatives from the County of Kauai, Yamasato Higa Architecture and Planning, Inc., and Shioi Construction will be in attendance. A detailed agenda will be provided at the meeting.
