In this Friday, March 22, 2019 photo provided by the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, Ashland County sheriff’s deputies Dylan Wegner, left, and Zach Pierce hold up two bear cubs they rescued from a flooded culvert on near the Bad River Indian Reservation near Ashland, Wis. The deputies said they decided to risk angering the mother because the cubs were soaked and cold and crying out. They put the baby bears in their squad car to warm and they were eventually placed in an open area for their mother to gather up. (Karl Williams/Ashland County Sheriff’s Office via AP)
