PRINCEVILLE — A structure fire at the Emmalani Court condominiums in Princeville Monday night resulted in the total loss to one of its units.
No occupants were in the unit at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
Once on scene, firefighters found a unit on the first floor fully engulfed in flames and black smoke.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the single unit, before fully extinguishing the fire about 6:30 p.m.
The fire caused total damages to the first-floor unit, with significant smoke damage to the unit directly above, and possible electrical damage to two other adjacent units.
Fire inspectors estimate the cost of damage to the structure and its contents to be roughly $350,000.
The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced individuals.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
