Kapaa water notice lifted

KAPAA — The water-conservation notice was lifted for Kapaa customers as of noon Wednesday.

Water-tank levels in the Kapaa water system have been stabilized, and customers in Kapaa may resume normal water use.

The water-conservation request remains in place for customers in Koloa, Lawai and Omao, “in an effort to maintain water services until electrical power, system repairs and well-site functions can be restored to normal,” said a county Department of Water press release.
