Jeanette Cremer Tu
Jeanette Cremer Tu, 78, of Lihue, passed away on Jan 16, 2019, at Wilcox hospital. She was born a twin on May 9, 1940, at Wilcox Hospital. She retired from running her own vending stores at Lihue Airport and later at Circuit court house on Oahu.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Filo Kapesi Tu; daughter, Jeanette Tu Smith; grandson, Shaeden Tu; parents, Reinhold and Margaret Cremer; sister, Lorraine Medeiros; brother, Robert Cremer.
She survived by sons, Keith (Jasmine) Hardy of Hanapepe, Robert Hardy of Lihue, Tavita (Tasha) Tu of Lihue; daughter, Susan (Mark) Moriwake of Hanapepe; granddaughters she raised, Shantel Tu of Washington and Sierra Peirce of Lihue; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marian Lizama of Kapahi, Elizabeth Owen of Houston, Texas, Loretta (Henry) Johnson of Garfield, Texas, Bernadette (Jerry) Reynolds of Fort worth, Texas; brothers, Reinhold Cremer Sr. of Lihue, Edward Cremer of Puhi , Eric Cremer of Lihue; sister-in-law, Patrica Cremer Of Wailua.
A celebration of life will be Held at Aloha Church in Lihue on Saturday, Feb 9, 2019. Visitation will start at 9 a.m. Celebration Service will start at 11 a.m. The family suggest casual attire.
Her ashes will be brought to Honolulu at a later date.
Geraldine M. Hamada
Geraldine M. Hamada, 74, of Lihue, passed away on Jan. 16, 2019, in Honolulu. Born on Aug. 20, 1944, in Molokai, she was a retired pre school teacher with Kapaa Head Start.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Irene Tsukano; brother, Clinton Tsukano.
She is survived by her husband, Howard T. Hamada of Lihue; son, Kris M. Hamada of Wailuku; brothers, Kenneth Ebina of New Mexico, Richard (Emily) Ebina of Honolulu; sisters, Betty Whipple of AZ, Genevieve (Fred) Kaneshiro of Pearl City; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, at Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 10 a.m. And services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Family suggests casual attire. Please omit flowers.

David George Akre
David George Akre was born on Sept. 1, 1955, in Bellingham, Wash. He passed away unexpectedly Jan. 16, 2019, in Kalaheo.
Dave is survived by his wife of 42 years, Julie; son, Bryce; daughter, Kelli (Arin Smith) and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at on Sunday, Feb., 24, at 1 p.m. at Kauai Christian Fellowship Church in Koloa.
Roseline Lokalia Tremaine
Roseline Lokalia Tremaine, 78, of Kekaha, passed away on Jan. 29, 2019. Born on Aug. 24, 1940, she was a retired produce manager at Big Save.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maha Leoiki and Florence Kapule; son, John Kaena Tremaine, III; brother, Rosedale “Bruddah” Leoiki; sister, Eileen Ululani Malama; former husband, John K. Tremaine, Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Jaeson Tremaine of Maui, Kaimana Tremaine of Kauai; daughter, Jaedene Waiala (Eric) Kajiwara of Kauai; grandchildren, Tiani (Ivan) Kajiwara, Jaime (Lynnette) Kajiwara, Taira “Banana” (Roger) Kajiwara, John (Kanoe) Lyman-Tremaine; great-grandchildren, Waianuhea, Kawahine Pueo, Tiare Heualihau; brothers, Robert (Boobie) Leoiki of Kauai, Rodney Charman Leoiki of Kauai; sisters, Pinky Malama of Kauai, Sharon “Maha” Leoiki of Kauai, Lolly Malama of Kauai; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Christine Piilani Bumanglag passed away on Dec. 16, 2018. She was born at Wilcox Hospital on Oct. 27, 1983.
She is survived by her partner, Erwin Carnate; parents, Victoria Bumanglang, Robert Duterte and John (Wilma) Bumanglang; grandparents, Marcelina “Marcy” (Eugene “Grandpa D”) Del Rosario; siblings, Brandy (Chase Collins) Duterte, Robert Duterte; hanai sisters, Tiffany Riopta, Sanoe Garcia Suguitan; children, Leinoe Kauai Mihalani Bumanglag Padilla, Jayze Kaoli’i Kekipi Padilla; their father, Jason Padilla, Dylain Kahelelani Rivera; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Dennis Ichiyo Oshiro, of Kapaa, passed away on Jan. 30, 2019. He was born on May 19, 1950.
He is preceded in death by his father, Susumu Oshiro; mother, Mitsue Rachel Oshiro; sister, Kathleen Nickens.
