Calling all poets

The Kauai “Live Poets’ Society” (LPS) hosted by Dawn Kawahara, Kauai writer and poet, in partnership with the Lihue Public Library, will hold the next meeting on Feb. 4, 6:30- to 8:30 p.m. in the conference room of the library.

Please bring a poem in progress to share for written critique and writing materials. The focus will be to explore more about writing prose poems written in a “block” form.

LPS meetings are free. The society was recently formed to promote the enjoyment of poetry —writing, reading, and listening.
