Albert Carveiro
Albert Carveiro, 80, of Kaumakani, passed away at Wilcox Medical Center on Jan. 21, 2019. He was born in Makaweli Hospital on Nov. 30, 1938, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Gay &Robinson as a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in death by parents Manuel and Adeline Carveiro, brothers Robert Carveiro, Manuel Carveiro Jr., Richard Carveiro and Lawrence Carveiro, and grandson Markis Allin “Bigadamac” Carveiro.
He is survived by wife Maximina Manaday Carveiro of Kaumakani, daughters Cheryl Lynn (Albert) Carveiro Pacanas of Fremont, California and Alicia Ann (Mizdebz) Carveiro of Hanapepe, sons Alan Dwayne Carveiro of Kaumakani and James Michael (D’Neice) Carveiro of Kalaheo, nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo, with visitation from 8:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
The family suggests casual attire.
