Mark Adam Dizol
Mark Adam Dizol, 54, of Kalaheo, passed away on Jan. 12, 2019, at Wilcox Medical Center.
Born on Feb. 17, 1964, in Portland, Maine, he retired from the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by father Fernando Dizol, mother Shirley A. Ancheta, brother Alan Dizol Sr., and sisters ElizabethDizol and Selina Dizol Galvan.
He is survived by wife Dawn Dizol of Washington, mother Zina Dizol, daughter Pualani Makamae Dizol of Fort Collins,Colorado, brothers Fernando “Sonny” (Francine) Dizol III of Kauai, James (Zenaida) Dizol of Koloa and Kekoa (Delia) Dizol ofKoloa, sisters Vicki Dizol Mostofo of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Kawailani (Bruce) Newport-Kilauano of Kekaha, Raylene“Sissy” Kahale of Koloa, Leonora Dizol Kai‘aokamalie of Lawai and Andra Ota of Lihue, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces,nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, Jan. 27, at Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 1 p.m., where serviceswill be celebrated at 3 p.m.
The family suggests casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted.
His final resting place will be at Kauai Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Florence Takeshiro Chang
Florence Takeshiro Chang, 92, of Kapaa, passed away on Jan. 11, 2019, at her home. She was born on March 24, 1926, in Kealia, and was a cafeteria worker at Kapaa High School.
She was preceded in death by husband Robert Chang and son-in-law James Gotelli.
She is survived by son Mark (Donna) Chang of Washington, daughters Diane Wilson of California and Beverly Gotelli of Kapaa, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, brother Aaron Takeshiro of Honolulu, sisters Shirley (Norman) Akita of Lihue and Edith Luke of Illinois, sister-in-law Ann Faber Chang of Honolulu, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services were held.
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Ronald Gordon Kadey
Ronald Gordon Kadey, 76, of Kapaa, passed away at Regency at Puakea on Jan. 18, 2019. He was born in Washington on April 11, 1942, and retired as a certified public accountant.
He is survived by wife Peggy Kadey of Kapaa, sons Brian Kadey and Roger (Erin) Kadey of Washington, 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sister Sharon (Sam) Kadey Attal of Texas, brother George Kadey Jr. of Oregon, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 27, at Kapaa Missionary Church, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Inurnment will be held in Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park in Washington at a later date.
Kauai Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
M. Robert Earl Lansing
M. Robert Earl Lansing, 93, of Honolulu, passed away at Queen’s Medical Center on Jan. 17, 2019.
He was born in California on Sept. 20, 1925.
He is survived by wife Mitsuko Lansing.
The inurnment service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl on Oahu.
