Movaghar scores in Kapaa’s 1-0 win over Island School

LIHUE — Kapaa High School’s varsity boys soccer team (8-1-1 KIF, 25 points) defeated Island School, 1-0, Tuesday evening at Vidinha Stadium.

Kapaa’s Johnny Movaghar scored in the first half in the Warriors win.

Kauai (3-5-2 KIF, 11 points) and Waimea (1-6-2 KIF, 5 points) played Wednesday evening at Vidinha Stadium. Results were not available by press time.

In Saturday, Kapaa and Kauai will play at 11:45 a.m. at Vidinha Stadium. Also this weekend, Island School (3-3-5 KIF, 14 points) will host Waimea at 10 a.m.
