Bok Su rescues a woman; Sunny is set in despair

The top South Korean boyband BTS filmed their sold out concert in Seoul in 2018 and will be showing the concert in movie theatres in the US on January 26.

Presented by Pathe Live and Fathom Events, BTS World Tour Love Yourself in Seoul world tour will be shown in Regal theatres in Honolulu, Kahalui, Kapolei and Pearl City.

On another note: SONY Open PGA week starts today at Waialae Country Club. South Korean golfers who are scheduled to appear are Sangmoon Bae, Sungjae Im, Sung Kang, Si-woo Kim, and Kyoung-hoon Lee.

Local amateur qualifier Peter Jung will also make his PGA debut at age 16, a sophomore at Maryknoll High School. KJ Choi from South Korea won the SONY Open in 2008.

Korean American PGA golfer James Hahn lost to Patton Kizzire on the 6th playoff hole in 2018.

Monday 7:45 p.m.: Kang Bok Su and Son Soo Jeong could not be any more different. Soo Jeong is always determined to be the best, while Bok Su doesn’t have a care in the world. Their story begins when they are paired up in a competition to improve their class rankings.

Tuesday 7:45 p.m.: Bok Su rescues a woman from the Han River, having no idea that it was Soo Jeong. Bok Su is revered as the hero of Han River on the news, getting national attention. In an effort to revamp negative images of Sulsong High School, Se Ho asks Bok Su to return to school.

‘The Last Empress’

Episodes 17 and 18 (Wed.); 19 and 20 (Thur.)

Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Sunny searches for clues about the Grand Empress Dowager’s killer. But where does she begin? All seem guilty, yet innocent. Lee Hyuk, the Empress Dowager and Yu Ra are suspicious of each other. The truth about that night unfolds and Sunny faces the real culprit.

Thursday 7:45 p.m: Sunny is set in despair finding out the reasons that lied behind her marriage to the Emperor. A formidable force appears before Wang Shik, the Empress Dowager and Yu Ra.

‘Healing Love’

Episodes 1 and 2 (Fri.); Episodes 3 and 4 (Sat.)

Friday, 7:45 p.m: A story of a super woman who strives to liberate herself from her suffocating in-laws. Only to find herself with her real family that she was estranged from in childhood. Neither families are willing to let her go, leading to tug of war, filled with love, jealousy and evil intentions.

Saturday, 7:45 p.m: Chi Woo is excited at the thought of moving with her husband into their own home. That hope is shattered by her bumbling husband who loses the security deposit. Chi Woo and Jin Yoo meet under strained circumstances.
