Dr. Stanwood Haruto Kanna
Dr. Stanwood Haruto Kanna, 61, of Kalaheo, passed away on Dec. 13, 2018, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital.
Born on March 20, 1957 in Waimea, he was a dentist.
He was preceded in death by father George A. Kanna.
He is survived by wife Trish Kanna of Kalaheo, sons Audie (Brook) Bernardino of Hanapepe and Matthew Kanna of Kalaheo, daughter Audree (Jason Yoshida) Roman of Hanapepe, grandchildren Ayden Bernardino, Jordyn Roman and Maddox Bernardino, mother Carol Kanna, brothers Robert (Nancy) Kanna of Hanapepe and George (Sharlyn) Kanna of Kalaheo, sisters Crystal (Jeff) Egusa of Molokai, Lauren (Rick) Bundschuh of Koloa, Jacqueline (Ross Young) Kanna of Hanapepe and Holly (Steve) Araki of Mililani, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Dec. 22, at Hanapepe United Church of Christ from 8 to 9:45 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Darren DeFabian
Darren DeFabian, 56, of Hanapepe, passed away on Oct. 26, 2018, in Hilo, Hawaii.
He is survived by daughter Karen Jane DeFabian and son Joshua Mana DeFabian.
Services will be held at Westside Christian Center, 8041 Kekaha Rd., Kekaha, on Saturday, Dec. 22, with visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. and services from 10 to 11 a.m.
Ballard Family Mortuary Hilo is assisting the family with arrangements.
