Moses Lopez
Moses Lopez, 89, passed away on Dec. 1, 2018.
Born on Feb. 5, 1929, he was a retired heavy equipment operator and served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by wife Loretta Lopez and son Maurice Lopez.
He is survived by daughters Doreen (Buz) Vasper of Honolulu and Arlene (Tony) Caday of Kalaheo, grandchildren Larissa (Matt) Morgan, Marissa (Todd Pickering) Vasper, Brandee (Dave) Abreu, Alika (Chella) Vasper, Giselle (Brennen) Bucao and Joslyn (Kahonu) Wong, great-grandchildren Brayden Abreu, Taira Abreu, Jake Pickering, Keenan Texeira, Haylee Pickering, Kysen Bucao, AJ Vasper, Koa Wong, Eli Vasper, Keanu Wong, Jackson Morgan amd Brensen Bucao, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22, at Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 9 a.m., where services will be held at 10:30 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire.

Elisa A. Bodano
Elisa A. Bodano, 78, of Puhi, passed away on Dec. 2, 2018, at Wilcox Medical Center.
Born on Nov. 10, 1940 in Camiling, Tarlac, Philippines, she was a housekeeper at Coco Palms, Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation and Garden Island Inn.
She is survived by son David (Darlene) Bodano of Hanamaulu, daughters Verna (Richard Leota) Bodano of Anahola, Katherine (Craig) Reiff of New Hampshire and Marla (Scott) McGurn of Puhi, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sisters Puring Macias of Philippines and Violeta Sta Ana of California, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church from 9 to 9:45 a.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Lihue Cemetery.
