PRINCEVILLE — A blessing and open house celebration of Bank of Hawaii’s Princeville Branch set for Wednesday marks the bank’s seventh “Branch of Tomorrow.”
The branch, 5-4280 Kuhio Highway, has undergone renovations and will commemorate the transformation with a traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony followed by an open house.
“By providing spaces for modernized interactions with bank personnel and utilizing new technological enhancements, the 2,620-square-foot banking center provides customers a 21st-century banking experience,” a press release said.
Some key features of the Branch of Tomorrow include:
• BankLanai — an enclosed front lobby area accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week with enhanced ATM features, such as easy deposit and Cardless Cash. Cardless Cash is a trademark of FIS.
• Tomorrow Center — customers can receive assistance with simple banking needs and technology demonstrations.
• Teller Bar — an open-floor concept allows employees to provide a more personal experience to conduct everyday banking transactions.
• Aloha and Pili Rooms — employees and customers can meet in more private areas to discuss banking needs or financial advice.
The open house celebration will feature live entertainment, food and giveaways for customers.
The event is scheduled 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
