The Sierra Club is leading a hike on Saturday at Kuilau Ridge Trail.
The hike is described as easy to moderate, 3.5 miles, with sweeping views of lush valleys, Mount Waialeale and the Makaleha mountains.
“This trail offers great rewards without a lot of effort,” according to a press release. “Glorious views and ever-present bird songs reward you along this trail.”
Hikers will take a lunch break at picnic tables.

The three-mile hike is on trails above rugged sandstone cliffs. Hikers will experience one of Kauai’s most beautiful locations, isolated from development, perfect for resting Hawaiian monk seals.
