Rare are the times when we can listen to storytellers who are well traveled and well practiced in their craft. Such an afternoon and evening are being planned at Storybook Theatre in Hanapepe beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday for youngsters inside the inflatable marine creatures and continuing into the evening for adults.

Such an afternoon and evening are being planned at Storybook Theatre in Hanapepe beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday for youngsters inside the inflatable marine creatures and continuing into the evening for adults.
Anecdotes and stories from the plantation camps will be presented by Alton Takiyama-Chung. Shadow puppets and spookies will be masterfully woven by Jeff Gere. Sabra Kauka will share stories learned while caring for the Napali Coast for many years, and Mark Jeffers will speak about the life and times of Pacific storyteller Robert Louis Stevenson.
Admission is $12. Children under 12 years are half price, and pre-schoolers and infants are free.
