Do a better job on traffic flow

Why is the highway northbound not using flaggers and police to open up lane southbound temporary for the northbound traffic? The southbound is very slow and could be halted briefly to increase the northbound flow during this severe mishap. Unacceptable and very lazy from our county flagmen and police!

Time to fix Kahiliholo Road

As a resident on Kahiliholo Road in Kilauea that was cut in two during the floods back in April I would like to know if our road will be repaired anytime soon?

We were lead to believe the contract for repairing the road had been awarded and work was to commence mid-October. So far no work appears to have been started.

With family and friends coming in for the holidays I am very concerned for their safety if they have to drive the pot-hole filled bypass road at night.

Please help the residents on this road get their lives back to normal. We don’t want to have to wait another six months or a year to get the road fixed. Can you help us and give us all an early Christmas present?

Michael Radeczki, Kilauea
