Kauai High plans evacuation drill

LIHUE — Kauai High School will be conducting its annual off-campus evacuation drill at 8 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18.

About 1,200 individuals, including students, teachers, staff and administrators will evacuate the school campus by walking along Lala Road and crossing Rice Street to Nawiliwili Park, then return to the campus.

During the drill, Lala Road and Rice Street to Nawiliwili Park will be closed.
