Later in October people have a chance to visit areas typically closed to the public as the Kauai National Wildlife Refuge Complex celebrates National Wildlife Refuge Week, Oct. 16-20.
During National Wildlife Refuge Week, guided tours will be offered in Hanalei and Huleia National Wildlife Refuges, which are usually closed to the public.
