Dylan Kawaikupau Kuwamura
Dylan Kawaikupau Kuwamura, 29, of Kapaa, passed away on Sept. 10, 2018, at Wilcox Medical Center.
Born on Nov. 17, 1988, in Kaunakakai, Molokai, he was a flight attendant.
He was preceded in death by grandmother Lucille Momi Alapai and grandfathers Masami Kuwamura and Richard Seshiki.
He is survived by father Pauly (Lisa) Kuwamura of Kapaa, mother Tamilynn (James) Chaney of Molokai, brothers Richard James (Brej) Duvauchelle and Lelan Chaney-Fariah and sisters Jamielynn Duvauchelle and Joey (Leigh) Duvauchelle, all of Molokai, grandparents John and Maggie Duvauchelle of Molokai and Carole Seshiki of Kapaa, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, at noon at the pavilions of Bryan J. Baptiste Sports Complex in Kapaa.
The family suggests casual attire.

Paul Parongao, 86, of Eleele, passed away on Sept. 14, 2018, at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home.
Born on June 27, 1932 in Eleele, he was a retired welder and security guard who also served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by father Vicente Parongao, mother Romana Navarro Manilog, brothers Aladiano “Al” Parongao and Tom Parongao, and sisters Helen Parongao Neves and Josephine “Pena” Parongao Perez.
He is survived by wife Juanita “Nita” Batis Parongao, sons Vicent (Joanne) Parongao of Waimea, Vaughn (Iris) Parongao of Eleele, Vernon (Josie) Parongao of Kalaheo, Lance (Emmylou) Parongao of Eleele, Kyle (Christie) Parongao of Eleele, daughter Lianne Paronga of Hilo, 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, stepmother Gloria Parongao, brother John Parongao of Kalaheo, sisters Trinidad Parongao Peralta of Kekaha and Amy Lyn Parongao of Oahu, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery.
