Most taxi drivers do great work

I’m sorry for Ms Clarkin and the poor service she initially received from the on-demand taxi concession managed by the Lihue Airport.

I have owned a taxi service on Kauai for the last 12 years. When the article first appeared in TGI, we taxi drivers and owners instantly knew who the perpetrator was. Mahalo for her question. The answer to “Who’s responsible for the taxi service originating at the Lihue Airport?”

The answer, Lihue Airport management.

In every industry there are always a few bad apples. Most of the Lihue Airport taxi drivers are very nice eager to please their customers and share stories and info and aloha.

Please don’t allow a few bad apples to cloud the image of of all taxi drivers and companies on Kauai. This kind of behavior has been going on for years.

The responsible drivers and owners have complained to the authorities about the violation of long-established rules and regulations.

This is all about enforcement.

The big question that needs to be answered is “What action was taken against this taxi driver’s chronic bad behavior so this will never happen again?

SBA loans. It’s a family business. You pay the airport concession. How much in profits? Per month
