Rosaline Bernadette Esona
Rosaline Bernadette Esona, 77, of Kilauea, passed away on July 24, 2018, at Straub Hospital.
Born on June 12, 1941, in Honolulu, she was a retired housekeeper.
She was preceded in death by parents Emilio and Annie Lanoza, brothers John and James Figueroa and Albert and Emilio Lanoza Jr., and sister Bernice Figueroa.
She is survived by husband Raymond Esona, son Michael Esona, brother Bill Lanoza, hanai daughter Sharnell Woodward, hanai son Tristan Espinosa, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, August 17, at Kauai Veterans Center in Lihue from 9 to 9:45 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Cremation will follow.
The family suggests casual attire.

Felipe Lacaden
Felipe Lacaden, 74, of Kapaa, passed away on Aug. 11, 2018, at his home in Kapaa.
Born on Feb. 8, 1944, in Lihue, he was a dishwasher for Smith’s Tropical Paradise.
He is survived by wife Corazon Pabro Lacaden, daughters Stacie (Matthew) Lopes and Rhoda Lacaden, son Janssen Chad Lacaden, sisters Marina Ahnee, Fedela Hao, Helen (Allen) Somalpong, Laura Ballas and Marivic Lacaden, brothers Fernando (Dayne) Lacaden, Neal (Debra) Lacaden and Angelito Ruguian, 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Aug. 25, at St. Catherine Church in Kapaa from 8 to 9:45 a.m., where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
