Kauai hosts Kalaheo to start football preseason

The 2018-19 Kauai Interscholastic Federation schedule was released Thursday afternoon.

The high school football preseason for Kauai will begin Aug. 3 when Kauai High School will host Kalaheo, of the Oahu Interscholastic Association, at 7 p.m. at Vidinha Stadium.

On Aug. 4, Kapaa will host Lahainaluna, of the Maui Interscholastic League, at 7 p.m. at Vidinha Stadium.

The remainder of the football preseason schedule is as follows:

– Aug. 10: Kauai at Maui (MIL), at War Memorial Stadium, time unavailable

– Aug. 10: Waimea at Honokaa (BIIF), 7 p.m. at Honokaa High School

– Aug. 11: Kapaa at Konawaena (BIIF), junior varsity 5 p.m., varsity 30 minutes after

– Aug. 17: Waimea vs. Classico Academy (Calif.), 7 p.m. at Hanapepe Stadium

The KIF regular season will begin Aug. 24 when Kauai hosts Waimea at Vidinha Stadium. The JV game will begin 5 p.m. and the varsity will follow.

    My apologies. Though I never did see anything in the football team. Unless you play football in Ilinois and return back home as a mayor. Election time. Weird is your mayor. Too dumb. Eh…represent Who? Farmers with no money and democrats. Kauai life.
