Dr. John Carlton Roberts
Dr. John Carlton Roberts, 92, of Honolulu, passed away on July 11, 2018. He was born on Feb. 22, 1926.
He was a retired physician at Straub Clinic and a pianist.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Kate Craighill Roberts, children Dorothy (Dana) Roberts of Kapaa, Carolyn Roberts of Tucson, Arizona, Rebecca Ann Roberts of Tucson, Arizona, William (Elena) Peyton Roberts of Charlotte, North Carolina, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Aug. 3, at 4 p.m. at St. Michael & All Angels’ Episcopal Church, 4364 Hardy St., Lihue.
Consuelo Ancheta Yamane
Consuelo Ancheta Yamane passed away on July 14, 2018 in Honolulu. She was born on April 22, 1934 in Makaweli.
She was the owner and founder of Amuseden Kitchen in Waimea.
She is survived by sons Michael (Erlinda), Lyndon, John Sydney and Albert, grandchildren Kaileen and Michael Jr., daughter-in-law Christy Fujimori, and numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe, with viewing at 10 a.m. with services to begin at 10:15 a.m. Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m.
The family requests casual attire and welcomes flowers.
Cheryl Ann Ramones Dela Cruz
Cheryl Ann Ramones Dela Cruz, 46, of Ewa Beach, passed away on July 12, 2018. She was born on Kauai on Aug. 1, 1971, and was employed with Mana Construction.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Alfred Ramones, and maternal grandparents Pedro Nanod and Loretta Suan Felipe.
She is survived by her significant other, Ty Howser, sons Justyn (Brooke) Dela Cruz and Caleb Dela Cruz, mother Cecilia Ramones, father Richard (Karen) Ramones, grandchild Mila Paisley Dela Cruz, paternal grandmother Helen Ramones, and numerous aunties, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 28, at Immaculate Conception Church, with visitation from 8 to 9:45 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
