William Neil Rapozo will serve as Grand Marshal, and Joseph Sugai will give up his horse to ride in a convertible as the Pa‘u Marshal.
The parade on Rice Street includes Pa‘u units representing Hawaiian Islands, equestrian units, community floats and walking units.
Food booths, crafts, entertainment and cultural demonstrations continue until 2 p.m. at the Historic County Building
Streets on the parade route will be closed starting at 8 a.m.
Road closures include Ho‘olako Street from the south entrance to Vidinha Stadium at Rice Street, Rice Street from Ho‘olako Street to Haleko Road, and ‘Eiwa and ‘Umi streets between Hardy and Rice Street.
