Ronald Sadao Yokoi
Ronald Sadao Yokoi, of Kapaa, passed away on May 14, 2018, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 71. He was born on Sept. 18, 1946, in Waimea, Kauai. Ronald was retired route salesman with Hostess Cake and in his own world, “Still a rookie fisherman”.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Toshichi “Lefty” and Natsu Yokoi; brother, Tom and Paul Yokoi; sister-in-law, Karen; brother-in-law, Benjamin; parents-in-law, Shoichi and Kimiko Kodama; his son, Benjamin.
Survived by his wife, LaVerne Kodama-Yokoi; daughter, Miko (Adam) and Amber (John); siblings, Royden “Butch” (Betty), Linda (Tsugi) and Gordon; sister-in-law, Vera; granddaughter, Siena; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai at 10 to 10:45 a.m. where services will be at 11 a.m. Casual attire is suggested.
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arraignments.
