LIHUE — Dorene Sautner, chairperson for the Friends of the Lihue Public Library used book sale, said they have a lot of good books available when the Friends’ used book sale starts today, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Proceeds will support library programs.
“We have a lot of good books, especially in cooking, crafts, children, and Asian,” Sautner said. “We have a special person coming in to help separate the different Asian titles which include fiction, and nonfiction. These are beautiful books which no one reads anymore.”
The sale goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday with pricing that Sautner describes as practically give-away. Sunday hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lihue Library conference room.
“We’ll have the big bargains, Sunday,” Sautner said. “We don’t want to pack these books. You can get a big box for a special price.”
