Ken McIntosh of Amery, Wisconsin shot a hole-in-one at the Wailua Golf Course on Thursday.
McIntosh used a TaylorMade club to hit the ball 171 yards into the cup on the course’s 17th hole. It was McIntosh’s fourth hole-in-one in 54 years playing.
“Playing with two wonderful gentlemen and my wife on our anniversary trip,” McIntosh commented. “This is our first return trip to Hawaii and maiden visit to Kauai.”
Also, Dan Franke of Alberta, Canada hit a hole-in-one at the Kiahuna Golf Club on Tuesday.
Franke wielded a pitching wedge to hit the ball 125 yards into the cup on the course’s third hole. Ric Williams was a witness.
