Thousands of lost Atlantic City casino jobs are coming back

Applicants for jobs at the soon-to-open Hard Rock casino in Atlantic City N.J. line up for interviews on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018, at a hotel nearby. Tuesday’s event was for former workers at the Trump Taj Mahal, which closed in 2016 but will reopen this summer as a Hard Rock casino resort. The former Revel casino is reopening around the same time as well as the Ocean Resort casino, adding thousands of jobs to a market that lost 11,000 since 2014 due to casino closings.
