Library kicks off early reading program

Waimea Public Library is offering a free public program, Early Learning Storytime, in January and February on Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Children ages birth to 5 years are welcome with their adult caregivers.

There will be reading, singing and playing. The librarian will present interactive books and rhymes. The rest of the program is free play with educatinoal toys or an art activity.
