HONOLULU — A Hawaii tourist is asking the public for help finding the culprits responsible for throwing a breadfruit through a bus window, leaving her face bloodied and bruised.
HONOLULU — A Hawaii tourist is asking the public for help finding the culprits responsible for throwing a breadfruit through a bus window, leaving her face bloodied and bruised.
Valerie Zaugg of Utah says she was sitting on a tour bus leaving the Polynesian Cultural Center when an unripe breadfruit the size of a baseball crashed through a window and hit her in the face.
She says a shard of glass went in her eye.
Zaugg says before the incident, she had asked a family to switch seats with her.
Had they not, Zaugg says the family’s small child would have sat in the seat where she was hit.
As of Sunday, police have not arrested a suspect.
