Kaulupono wins 5th, 7th grade title at Turkey Shoot

Eric Rita, one of the Kaulupono Basketball coaches, said the babies did it again.

On Sunday afternoon, Kaulupono celebrated its victories, one by the fifth grade team and the other by the seventh grade team, the club earned during the fourth annual Maui Sparks Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot basketball tournament which was contested at the Maui War Memorial Gym.

The tournament was played Nov. 24-26, and according to Coach Pedro Saligumba, both teams finished the tournament victorious in their respective age groups.

The coaching staff included Saligumba, Rita and Fernando Constantino.
