Roy Baduan came over the mountain to Lihue as Donna Yanagihara hosted the craft fair at the Kauai Veterans Center. Donna does two craft fairs at the Kauai Veterans Center, and this was the second one. Stel Pimental was busy at the Kauai Museum event, but had time to create new arrangements for the Saturday event, coming up with a nice Christmas arrangement with lights and an on/off switch that is perfect for care home and long term residents.

Mary Lardizabal and the Kapaa Middle School music kids have been busy, too, providing entertainment prefacing the Holiday Light Spectacular at Kukui Grove Center, the lighting festivities at the Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital, and scheduled for the Keiki Holiday Bash this Saturday at The Shops at Kukuiula. The Kapaa Middle School group performs from 5:30 p.m., just ahead of Wally Rita y los Kauaianos, who close out the night.
With all that activity, Cheryl Brady and the other Kauai High School Project Grad organizers suggest Wednesday is a good night to dine at the Golden Arches as they host a McNight from 6 p.m. at the Lihue McDonald’s.
Santa is flying high, too, heading for the Kauai Coffee open house Saturday from 10 a.m., before visiting the Keiki Holiday Bash, which starts at 3 p.m. at The Shops at Kukuiula. And don’t forget Jack Leonard, who presents his Kauai Gymnastics athletes for their annual exhibition at Kukui Grove Center Sunday around lunchtime.
